Foivos/Phoebus is one of the most popular and important Greek composers and music producers.
With his unique compositions and his characteristic musical style, which combines traditional sounds with modern elements of pop, rock and dance, Foivos/Phoebus renewed the Greek music scene, created hits that went beyond the borders of the country and wrote songs that became timeless.
The innovation he brought with the beginning It is undoubtedly remarkable, but also the course of his career, in the Greek music industry through the way in which he approached the orchestrations of his songs, a fact that changed the status of the sound and the style of music until then which prevailed in Greek songs and music industry.
In 2000 Foivos/Phoebus with Antenna Group, one of the largest media business companies in the Balkans, collaborated and founded Heaven Music, a Greek music independent record company.
In the summer of 2001, his career took off as he gained international recognition, when he received the award for the best-selling album of the year in Greece for the CD single ” Ipofero” and he was awarded by the director of Virgin Megastores at London, Sir Richard Branson.
On March 6, 2002, Foivos/Phoebus and Despina Vandi received the award for “Best Sales Greek Artist in the World for 2001”, for the sales of the album “Gia” at the World Music Awards, one of the most important institutions in record industry that annually awards the artists with the highest sales records in the world. “Gia” also managed the impossible, reaching No. 1 in both the US and the UK (according to the official Billboard and Music Week charts).
In the spring of 2004, a major music collaboration is introduced, as Foivos/Phoebus collaborates with Coca Cola. He has been selected to compose the music that will accompany all of Coca Cola’s activities under the 2004 Olympic Games sponsorship agreement. This melody has been heard around the world. It became a source of inspiration for millions of people who gathered to celebrate at the biggest sporting event. In the summer of 2005, Coca Cola re-selected Foivos/Phoebus to compose and produce the song “Teleia” for Coca Cola’s Sound Wave Project.
In 2009, he founded the new record company “The Spicy Effect” in collaboration with the Star group and since then has been active in all aspects of the music industry.
In 2012, the Greek audience celebrated the “20 Years Phoebus” with a sold out concert at the Athens Olympic Stadium, featuring numerous Greek superstars that honored the work of Foivos/Phoebus.

with his non-stop music career in Greece, Foivos/Phoebus has composed songs for foreign countries, such as Asia (South Korea), Serbia and Turkey.
He is the only Greek composer who has entered the South Korean market with music to the song “All right” by the popular female band KPOP Red Velvet which is a huge success in South Korea:

Apart from the great success of his songs in Turkey and the Middle East, his music “dresses” some of the most successful commercials in Turkey, most recently the music for the advertisement of the respective Turkish information telephone number (11880).
In 2019, he composed the music for the soundtrack of the movie “The miracle of the Sargasso sea”, directed by Syllas Tzoumerkas. He also attended the premiere of the film at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival. The orchestral piece that he composed and musically closes the film, received a nomination for the Best Music Award at the 2020 Iris Awards of the Hellenic Film Academy!
2021 finds Foivos/Phoebus in a surprising new role! He participates as a judge in the new music talent show “House Of Fame” on SKAI TV. His musical knowledge, combined with his genuine humor and his insightful criticism, made always his name a topping trend on Twitter and be characterized as the TV personality of the year.
In June 2022, Foivos/Phoebus made the biggest and most unique concert for the reunion of the Parthenon Sculptures a reality! “Desmond Child rocks the Parthenon”, with the participation of Alice Cooper, Bonnie Tyler, Rita Wilson, Sakis Rouvas, The Rasmus , Kip Winger, Chris Willis, George Lebesis, Tabitha Fair, Justin Benlolo & Andrea Carlsson!
In November 2022, the idea of “Geia – The Musical”, born a year earlier on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the legendary album “Geia”, becomes a reality and everyone is talking about the musical of the year. Foivos/Phoebus made new arrangements of the big hits, while also writing new songs, especially for the theatrical adaptation of the album.
