Extremely high quality 2 channel microphone pre amplifier. Excellent sound, easy to use, and with all the facilities you could need, including proper DI inputs. The addition of MS facilities and stereo width control is unusual but very welcome, making this a superbly flexible unit.
Neve 1073 DPA Mic Preamp (1 Unit )
A superb addition to the Neve outboard range, providing two of our world-famous Class A Neve 1073 microphone preamplifiers in a single rackspace. The 1073 is the mic preamp of choice for numerous leading producers and artists, delivering the unique Neve sound featured on some of the most famous recordings of the past 40 years. The big, punchy sound of the 1073 compliments any musical genre, from rock to pop, hip-hop to rap, thrash to classical. Vintage AMEK System 9098 CL DUAL Compressor (1 Unit )
The SYSTEM 9098 Dual Compressor/Limiter, designed by Rupert Neve, provides Compression, Limiting and Ambience controls on each channel. The two channels may be linked for stereo operation. Firmly based on the performance and character of the historical 2254 Compressor developed by Rupert in the 1960’s, this new unit incorporates the progression in his design concepts over the past thirty years. Avalon AD2044 Dual Mono / Stereo Optical Compressor (1 Unit )
The AD2044 features 100% discrete, pure class A signal amplifier configured with high speed current monitored optical control elements. These “invisible” opto elements enable the AD2044 to deliver totally transparent, low noise gain reduction within the minimalist signal path design.
The AD2044 does simply amazing things for vocals and bass guitar as well as across the stereo buss. It can also warm things up if pushed a bit harder. If you can only own one analog compressor, I don’t think anyone can possibly go wrong choosing this one.
